One of my projects for uni looking at editorial illustration. I painted this sweet thing which is about a spy who was let go from the CIA who went on to write a book parodying her life. I had a clear visual idea of how this piece was would be executed, noir film-esque block colours and isometric perspective.
Two artists in particular that were relevant to my emerging visual language were Chris Ware and Patrick Caulfield.
