During the week I had an Illustration lecture on Abrecht Dürer. I remember previously looking at his woodcuts for their aesthetics. So, it was fascinating to listen about his self portraits he made through out his life, unlike any other artist, the Book of the Revelation of St John and his role as an artist, painter, printmaker and Illustrator.
